A Healthy Dose of Beta-Carrot-Cake

The Carrot Cake gets its moistness and texture from a generous amount of freshly grated carrots. Its wonderful flavor results from using warm spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves), a dash of orange zest, and a splash of freshly squeezed orange juice. To make it all come together, the Carrot Cake is then filled and frosted with homemade cream cheese frosting. This silky smooth frosting is truly the icing on the cake.

The Carrot Cake is available in 3 different sizes:
  • Four-layer 8” round cake. Yields: 16 slices.
  • Two-layer 8” round cake. Yields: 8-10 slices.
  • Single-layer 9” x 13” sheet cake (no filling). Yields: 24 bars.

Everybody Say Cheesecake

This Marbled Strawberry Cheesecake is not only pleasing to the eye but to the palette as well. Homemade strawberry puree is swirled inside the cheesecake batter by hand. The batter is then gently poured into the graham cracker crust which is made from scratch with a hint of cinnamon.

The Marbled Raspberry Cheesecake is a delicious variation. In this version the strawberry puree is replaced with homemade raspberry puree.

The Lime Cheesecake combines just the right amount of sweetness and tartness from freshly squeezed lime juice to give it that perfect tangy flavor. The homemade graham cracker crust incorporates lime zest and cinnamon to enhance the lime taste.

Yields: 16 slices.

Got Chocolate Torte?

The Triple Chocolate Torte is a chocoholic's fantasy. This four-layer chocolate cake with chocolate whipped cream and a thin layer of dark chocolate melts in your mouth.

A delicious variation is the Caramel Whipped Cream Chocolate Torte. This four-layer chocolate cake is filled with caramel whipped cream covered with a thin layer of dark chocolate glaze or more caramel whipped cream.

Yields: 16 slices.

Both Chocolate Tortes are also available in a smaller size. This two-layer version is just as delicious. It yields about 8-10 slices.
